The average rent price in the 16 Upper East Coast region has had an strong rise in recent months. There has been a strong rise in the rent prices in this region.
The price per sq.feet in 16 Upper East Coast has risen considerably in the last 6 months. During October, the average price per sq.feet was S$ 46.55. The following month (November) the price had a considerable rise reaching S$ 64.43 per sq.feet. The following two months (December, January) went through a rise of 110 % in the rent price per sq.feet rising from S$ 55.49 to S$ 60.98 per sq.feet. In the last two months, the price per sq.feet has risen 107 %. This has been obtained by comparing the price S$ 58.24 for the first four months of the sample with regard to the previous 4 months and the price S$ 62.22 per sq.feet for the last two months (February, March).
When referring to the price in 16 Upper East Coast(region), this has fallen considerably in the last 6 months. October has an average price of S$ 2,409. During Novemberthe price had a strong fall till S$ 1,861. The average price for the following two months (December, January) fell 94 % compared to the previous two. During the last two months the average price has not gone through any changes and has gone from S$ 2,074.25 to S$ 2,034 during February and March.
